Greetings and Salutations

I recently got back from the range to discover the reassurances of 'don't worry , I've got plenty more' I'd been telling my friends was 'no longer operative'. Obviously, Time To Buy More. But I am not finding much on-line in the way of .303 ammo of military surplus origins, or in case lots. (I knew I shoulda ...) Is that because I don't know where to look (always a possibility) or are the days of lots of surplus 303 over? [Please, don't everyone say 'Yes' and let it go at that. I could say that myself :-) ]

I live in Seattle, so going to a 'local' store for this is in the realm of the possible, as are stores in the Portland Oregon area. (I have family in zee old country.)

I'm also looking for 9mm and 40 S&W in bulk as well. pyotr filipivich Rifles, muskets, long-bows and hand-grenades are inherently democratic weapons. A complex weapon makes the strong stronger, while a simple weapon

Go to the Washington Arms Collectors (WAC) gun show this weekend, July 12-13, at the Puyallup Fair grounds. See James Bigelow for your ammo needs. He has tables by the door of the second building. Last time I checked he still had .303 and was about the only one who did. He also has a web site at www.surplusammo.com.

Hi hoo - off to the WAC I go.

Who needs to waste money on food, rent or utilities? Good thing I don't have a wife nagging me about food and clothes for the kids.

I find in my part of the country, KS, that gun shows are your best bet, at le last gun show I bought three boxes of 1944 MK VII at eight buck a box, the only problem is I habe to go to an out door range to shoot it because it is steel cored.

I was standing at the table, eye on the man's stock of 303, politely waiting my turn to ask if he had more, 'in bulk', and realized that the customer he was closing a deal with had just said 'and include the four boxes' and realized, that as I stood there, the ammo I wanted was being sold to another. Laughed out loud, asked if he had more or was expecting more, and could only say 'That's the way it goes. Ya snooze ya lose and all the rest.'

Maybe next time ...
