sorry about previos post I have a model 1892 oct bbl Im looking for a fair value #294xxx bluing pretty much gone stock has a couple of cracks but finish is decent ?? thanks

That serial number makes your rifle manufactured in 1905. The fact that you claim the bluing is pretty much gone and that the stock has a few cracks makes the value extremely low to collectors. The gun may have some parts value but I would venture not much more than a few hundred dollars. Sorry for the bad news. If this is a rifle that has been in the family for generations that may be its greatest value. A connection to your family for over 100 years.
