im thinking on buying a Smith & Wesson Model 59 9mm Semi-Auto do yo think its a good value and also do you know the original malnufacture date

Value is depending upon what you will be paying for it? You didn't mention that. In excellent condition they are going for $500.00 USD and in very good condition $350.00 USD. You'll have to decide the value in the purchase. They were introduced in 1971....

sorry yes i forgot to mention at first it was 375 us dlrs but i lowered it at 325 since i'm going to pay for transfer of ownership i have not yet scene it in person but in a picture he also he used it a couple of times

Sound okay, but check it out first (everything tight and sliding freely) and ask him how many rounds have been through the barrel. I personally wouldn't buy any that have had over 1,000 through them. Most however, don't get used that much and usually less than 500 have passed through the barrel depending upon the owner and its usage. $300.00 USD is better and test fire it....
