I have two 6" 66's, unfired, consecutive serial numbered from about 25 years ago. Do they have any real value above 2 new 66's?

hello,,my books are telling me that the 66 line was discontinued in 1993,,so i can't say that there only worth the price of a new one,,but two consecutive numbered smiths will bring a preimum and being unfired is great but people often say unfired and there not.. so that usually doesn't add to the value unless there sealed somehow,,but it doesn't hurt the price either..the books are telling me that new in the box price is 500,,exc..condition 350 at auction or private sale,,dealers may want to give you 275-350 ea for them depending how bad he wants them..I really beleive that if ya hang onto them for a few more years they will definatly raise in value and i'd keep them as a set

thanks for the response to my question. these are unfired. i contacted S&W, questioning their proofing. they shoot every gun they manufacture. on revolvers they shoot every other hole, leaving a slight powder burn on the end of the cylinder, as mine are.........
