trying to find out the value of a:

Remington arms double barrel shotgun
Damascus barrel
double triggers
exposed double hammers
model #1889
serial #59510
made in 1884

Hi,
There where 7 grades of the model 1889 which was introduced in 1889, 1884 doesn't seem to be the correct year. The demascus barrels where on the top 5 grades. Ingraving and quality of the demascus steel had alot to do with the grade. As for value your firearm would be worth having an appraisal. Condition and grade could be worth 1k's. Your firearm's S/N was in the first 25k produced, but after 1889.

you are absolutely right, i just checked it was made in 1894
