I have a Colt 1911 A-1 modified got bulls eye shooting. It is stamped "R L Shockey".
Can anyone enlighten me about this particular gun smith?
about how much would a marlin .22 caliber model 60 go for. I took it out shooting once and had it since 2004
It's a good gun. I have one and researched it out after shooting it for a while. It is the leader in its class in competition in Europe (i believe it was)

I think it's neither hunting, rather shooting at static elements. Whatever it is, this is a long range and the shots are magnificent.
