your 1911 was produced by colt in 1918 and depending on original finish and condition would range in value between 1000poor-3800 exc to a collector or at auction,,but be aware many of these old colt 1911s have been refinished at some time and original examples are getting very hard to find and will command a preminum depending on originality and correct parts ..refinished or mismatched guns will lower values as much as 30-50%
