An 88 in good condition and in .284 Winchester will fetch a handsome sum. I've seen them anywhere from $1000-1800 at gun shows in excellent condition. Where you quickly lose value is if the stock has been refinished, A recoil pad added, or if the original open sights have been removed. The people who buy these are generally buying the as collector pieces so the more original the better.

.308 and .243 are way more common and command less money. Probably 600-800 in excellent condition.

.358 Winchester is even more rare and will command more. Probably $2000+.

These were excellent rifles, a strange mix of lever gun and bolt gun and many people love them even today.
