I have recently acquired a savage super sporter in 30-30 caliber in a trade. With it being 30-30 I didn't believe it was very valuable. I have done a few searches on the internet, and it seems the people who have these guns for sale believe they are rare in 30-30. I only found a couple. Does anyone know if this is true, or did I luck up and get something that may be somewhat of a collectors item? Any information on this model would be appreciated.

I looked in the Blue Book and couldn't find it. I own a couple of Savages, but I'm not a Savage expert. If I had a better description (model number??) I could look it up.
