I would lke to get an idea of the value my Grandfather's Savage 1899 .303 rifle. It is serial number 82393, manufactured in 1909. The front sight is a Marble's Ivory bead in dovetail. I could not find a match for the rear sight but it is a single rail, adjustable sight. It has a checkered forearm with a delicate schnoble, and a straight checkered stock. The Tang sight is a Lyman #1A combination Tang sight with locking lever. The barrel is 19".

You do not mention the condition of your savage, however a really nice 303 savage with that length barrel in great condition sells here in Canada for about 300 to 450. In USA usually about 2oo higher.
The lyman sight is worth 15o in great conditon.
