I have the aBOVE WITH ONLY 7.65 ON BARREL AND THE GERMAN ENSIGN ON THE TRIGER GUARD. aNY IDEA WHAT YEAR MADE AND/OR VALUE. tHE HANDLE HAS THE SAUER TRADEMARK.

I think your talking about a 38H, they were made from 1938 - 1945. With a blank slide and no nazi/eagles insignia's stamped on the right side behind the top of the grip and above on the slide, it's a late gun. They made a couple hundred thousand of these but the serial didn't start at 1 I suspect yours serial is somewhere close to the 500000 range. I've seen them go for as low as 200 for poorer condition ones to $700-750 for finer condition examples.
There's a few oddballs out there in different calibers and they are worth some serious money ...
