I have a Browning Light 12 shotgun that looks exactly like your photo. Mine has a 8G 918 stamp. How do I tell if it is a Remington copy? It is very old, and in good shape with engraving.

I have one of these in 12 guage with the game scene engraved on the side. Great gun and inexpensive compared to the Brownings.
