Can a Ruger Bisley hammer be easily fitted to a standard New Model Ruger

Yes you will have to open the notch in the gripframe a little or take some metal off round part of the hammer.

I don't need to pare the hammer up with a Bisley trigger do I? I would like to keep the standard trigger.

I think the hammer and grip are the best parts of the Bisley... of course mine has the trigger too but I don't see what it is buying me
