I almost hate to do this because I don't have immediate access to the rifle to take more detailed pics or get any numbers or markings off of it, but I was wondering if anyone might have a rough idea of what it is? very short, looks to be at least .30

thinking about researching the value of it and possibly selling it and a Winchester 1901

It's definitely a Model 4 rolling block, by the take down a early version. With a serial I can date it, it might be late enough for a date code on the left side of the barrel. If it's at least 30 then it is either a 32 short or long. Is the blue as good as it looks on there and how about the case hardening? depending on that and the wood which seems solid but not great it's somewhere between a 350-800. Sorry for the big range but for collector pieces it's all about condition, condition, and condition...

I checked the lever turned to the thumb screw in 1924 so there's only a small window for a date code 1921-1924, they also went to a round barrel that year.
