Hello
I have a muzzleloader from my fathers estate and wanted to know the value. It has a tag on it that says rex yazel 1962. It shoots very well. Thanks

Hi,
on the side of the barrel under the scope, there is W M Large, there is a plate on the side that reads Rex Yazel - 1962, possibly an owner? I will have to take it to my sis's home to get photos to you.
Thanks Justy

hi jmc,
i'm still getting nothing, the rex yazel on the hammer plate i believe to be the owner or whom ever supplied the kit, manufacturer should be somewhere on the barrel, although i'm not finding anything on w m large either. it's a hawkin design, i've got a thomson center .45 cal that looks almost identical to it. sorry that i can't be of anymore help.

You have been great Kim. I will look at the barrel again to see if I've missed anything. It's mostly curiousity. Thanks for everything.

Posts: 433 As several other people have mentioned, Bill Large was THE top barrelmaker in the 1970s and early 1980s. His barrels command a hefty premium...and are worth it. Exquisite.
