Request Info on Savage 303 Model 1899

Can you please tell me the manufacture year and approximate value of a Savage 303, Model 1899, Serial number: 26743x? It has a twist type rear sight and an Indian head on the rear butt plate. The barrel looks to be about 22" long and is round. There is also a kind of flip-up sight between the front and rear sight.

your savage was made in 1923 and current book values put it in the 400 good condition -800 excellent condition range for the 99C standard model..if it's a lightweight model 99E or F it would be 500-1200,,if it's the delux model 99-G with a checkered pistol grip stock prices will be 700-1800
