Is there a company that makes a scope with a 7/8" tube? Anything more powerful than 2 power would be great.

I would like to replace the Lyman Alaskan on my .270 and changing the scope mounts in not an option as they are not made any longer.

The only option my gunsmith has given me is to machine the mounts off flush and start over. Sounds expensive.

Have you checked ebay, they are on there all the time...
