just traded for some guns and one of them is a remington sportsman 58 12 ga. semi auto. it has pointers and quail engraved on one side of the breech and ducks on the other side. it also has to be set to the size of brass you are shooting by twisting a knob at the end of the fore stock (where your plug would go in at least you must take this loose to put the plug in on my new remington 870 pump) it also has a v at the end of the serial if that is helpful in any way
