Hello. I have a E.Remington and Sons rolling block .22. I want to find out when it was produced, what the model number is (Model 1, or 1 1/2?) and what the approximate value is. Its in great shape, the end of the receiver where the stock begins is curved it also has an octagonal barrel. The serial number is 125xx. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I don't understand exactly what your saying that the receiver is curved or the stock is curved? I have to pull a book to check this I don't know them that well because I believe E. Remington would mean a 1 or 1 1/2 but I don't remember anything curved.

The rear of the receiver on the left and right sides, where it meets the butt stock, I have seen some where that seam is straight, and some where the seam has a slight crescent curve to it.

That little Remington with the "curved" receiver butt stock seam is a #2 Rolling Block.Much smaller than either the #1 or the#1 1/2.
