Just got a Remington Model Four in 30-06. I thought is was a 7400 when I first saw it (I have one of then in .270). Nice looking rifle with a Monte Carlo stock.

The Remington website says it is an "enhanced version" of the 7400,made between 1981 and 1988. I can't find a value of it anywhere on the net. Any idea of its value?

hi br,
the enhancements referred to by remington where in the looks of the rifle. i've only been able to find one for sale and the last bid was for 730 which is about 200 more than a 7400 would sell for. my wife has a 7400 in 308 that she loves.
