This gun is bicentennial. Gold inlaid with markings
of an eagle and 1776- 1976. I can not find much
about this gun at all. I would like to know what it
is worth, etc.

hello,,some of the commemorate model just cayrry the same value as the standard models ,,,,the 742's seem to be in the 300-425 range around my aera ,,being a special i'd say if it's really clean it could value a little more to a remington collector ,,but 742's don't seem to be real fast movers ..again in my part of the woods only because semi autos are not allowed for hunting,,but from what i've herd there nice rifles and shoot good,,

Depending on condition, really bad cond $250,On upwards to $500.A collector would pay more if it's immaculate.
