I just purchased a model 11 and need a butt stock. Can anyone reccomend a place to get one? Also it has no fancy engravings on it. The barrel is 24" long and ser# is 377118.Can anyone give me any history on this? Is this the correct factory length on the barrel? The blueing is 80% what is it worth? Thanks for any help.

hello ,,your remington i beleive was cut down at some time ,,the books list barrel lenghts as 26-32 for barrel lenghts,,they also made a 20" riot /military version which when you listed the barrel lenght i though it might be,,but it might have been something used by police depts,,it could have been cut down for home defence purposes also,,value for it would be around 250-275 with the cut barrel,,and made from 1911-1948 and 300,000 listed as produced ..
