Remington Fieldmaster model 572/ 22 caliber

What would be the approximate value of this rifle in excellent condition? Is this a good rifle to own as far as dependability and maintainance? What kind of accuracy can be expected using normal off the shelf Remington ammo?

between 250-300 value wise ,,and any good quality 22 ammo should shoot fine in it with very good accuracy,,a very popular rifle among small game hunters ..

I have several 22 rifles, including a 572 pump. The 572 is the most accurate, most consistent of my 22's with lust about any brand of ammo - CCI, Remington, Federal. I can put 30 rounds (2 loadings) through a half-dollar size hole at 40 yards. Mine has gotten plenty of squirrels over the years.
