Can you tell me the mfg date and value?
Remington 30-06 SPRG Woodmaster Model 742 SN 7321082 code on left is diamond shape, 4, X and them 94.

With Redfield 3X-9X tipoff scope

I bought the gun new in about 1970. It has shot only 1 box and is in near perfect condition.

id say your 742 remington should bring around 300-450 at auction or to a collector ,,the markings are a bit odd the X designates december but the diamond and 4 are not typical remington marks ,,you said you bought it new so i'd say around the date you bought it in +or- 2 years ,,dealer might offer 200-250 for it depending on how they see the condition..
