Have a 1882 sxs 12ga.Remington shotgun grade 5. Is in execellent cond.,case-colors still fresh,patina on action and barrels,all matching numbers,no barrel dents,Ser.# 3978. Looking for idea of value.

hello,,your remington sXs could be worth over 2000+ and for insurance purposes it should have a hands on appraisal for correct value from an antique arms dealer ,,high grade models will always be something a apraisal without looking at it would be very difficult to value properly,,just to many factors involved ,,
