sounds like ya may have either a model 10 or a model 17 or 29 and if it is one of the above time frame is between1907-1933,,values range for all three between 100-375 with a slight preiminum for a vented rib model,,and the average example in good -vg condition i've seen are between 150-275..depending on condition and functionality,,these were sometimes problematic in feeding and a good cleaning usually helps,, if there are any patent dates on it.. that will help usually to id the model..remington used a letter code to date there firearms that will usually be found on the left side of the barrel near the receiver ,,if it's a U that woould indicate the year of manufacture as 1927 and would put it in the model 17 or 29 ballpark

hello,,the model 10 is a popular turkey shoot gun because of the bottom ejection feature ,,there have been issues with them with fireing before the bolt is closed and seems there usually found with cracked stocks and sometimes there are issues with feeding ,,but still a good old remington !,,i have one i turned into a home defence gun with 20" barrel and it's a great shooter,,values are in the 150-250 range usually for working guns with sound stocks ..maybe a little higher if in extra clean condition..
