I would like to know the value range of a vintage remington 12 ga. pump shotgun ser. # u69218. it is a bottom load, bottom ejection. fully funtional but all the bluing is worn off and wood is good.

sounds like ya may have either a model 10 or a model 17 or 29 and if it is one of the above time frame is between1907-1933,,values range for all three between 100-375 with a slight preiminum for a vented rib model,,and the average example in good -vg condition i've seen are between 150-275..depending on condition and functionality,,these were sometimes problematic in feeding and a good cleaning usually helps,, if there are any patent dates on it.. that will help usually to id the model..remington used a letter code to date there firearms that will usually be found on the left side of the barrel near the receiver ,,if it's a U that woould indicate the year of manufacture as 1927 and would put it in the model 17 or 29 ballpark
