Good Morning;

I have what appears to be a very nice Remington 03A3 that came to me in a trade. When I got it I was informed the person from whom I got the rifle had never fired it, because he could not get the bore clean. The barrel is dated 4-43

The bore had dried cosmolene in it. A bit of boiling water resolved that issue. The stock was filthy with old grease. It had a few dings that appear to be rack marks from being in storage.

There are several inspectors stamps.

To the best of my knowledge it has very little use. There is not yet a ring on the bolt face. I have fired twenty rounds of Lake City match through the rifle.

It has been in my safe for about fifteen years, it does not fit my shooting needs so it is time for it to go up the road.

It is in about 95% condition, what is it worth?

Tom

hello ,,the 03a3s are bringing between 450-650+ depending on the correctness of it ,,at auction and at the gunshows,,i've seen some with import stamps but most seem to be non import guns and the cmp may still be selling them if the supply hasn't dried up..
