I've had this "looks like new" 03A3 in a gun safe for over 30 years. Just started doing research on all these family hand me down guns. Serial number 3930422.
Would like history, value and comments/questions.

the year of manufacture for serial number 3930422. is 1942.

Remington 1903A3 production started in 1942 at number 3348086.

the year of manufacture for serial number 3930422 if a smith corona is 1944.

All Smith Corona's were model 1903A3 and were made in 1943 and 1944.
Smith Corona serial numbers with a ''C'' prefix indicate that a Remington rifle was issued with the same serial number.
