I inherited a Winchester Model 94 32WS serial number 956XXX and was trying to get an idea on how old it is.
I am not interested in selling it, just would like more history on it if possible.

hello ,,your winchester was made in 1925 and a value for insurance replacement would be around 1000 in fair -good condition and possibly more if a nice clean original unaltered gun,,pre ww2 winchester seem to be bringing the best money these days in the collectors market ,,but preimum prices are only for unaltered rifles and carbines with original finishes..

Thanks so much.
the gun is clean and still retains the natural color, not that I know guns well but folks who have seen it have said so.
I also have the original case although it is in two pieces now. (leather with fur felt inside hand stitched)
