Please help! I am a woman who knows NOTHING about guns, but my father collected them. Never used them, just had mom dust them. I need some kind of a value on a Browning Sweet 16.Two barrels on top of each other. Some info from gun: Fabrique d' rems de deguree Herstall, Belgium. Serial # 7KG000. Heg 16-65 On barrel: Single 5 turn imp.
5 Full 1 cycl. 3 mod. Would really appreciate some help. Thank you.

hello,,would it be possible to get a pic of your shotgun ,,from your description it doesn't come out right ,,you say the barrels are on top of each other,,but your giving a sweet sixteen as a model ,,the sweet sixteen was a semi auto and but this has only 1 barrel ,,the over /under has 2 barrels stacked on top of each other but it was not made in 16 ga,,the serial number you gave doesn't work on any of the browning shotguns,,the letter code isn't listed ,,are you taking about 2 different guns or 1,,a pic would help alot to figure out what ya have ..

You are so right. Trying to get info from my 82 year old mother.
She had a young man look at the gun:

Anybody who can help:
I finally got my hands on the gun that belonged to my father. here is a photo from a website. While
this gun is a "Remington" mine looks exactly the same! Same pattern on shaft etc.

On the end it says: Browning Automatic FN
on gun: fabrique national d'armes de guerre herstal beligique
on barrel: full 16 special steel, a crown with ELG and a star,
number by shell area: 61572 (d underneath)

I really would appreciate any info on this gun. Approximate value would
be great.
