kel tec makes a nice litte 9 mm compact the p-11 pretty reliable,,lightweight and good for small hands,,also i have a pheonix 22 semi thats a little heavier but very reiable but i don't load the mags to capacity,,i only load 8 instead of 10 and it shoots everytime,,they also make it in 25acp but i never owned one of the newer ones,,ruger is making a small frame 380 that people are raving about but i don't have any experience with it..but theres a couple to look at ,,nothing can tell ya what will fit your hand so a gunshow or a good stocked shop can let you get a hands on feel to see what you like
