hello what you have is a 1861 contract musket made by Parker&snow company of Meridian NY,,they made them between 1863-64 and a total of 15,000 rifles were made..the lockplate should be marked 1864..but there is a version with the same markings but with a 1863 date and this varient is beleived to be a product of the James Mulholland contract of 1861 of which only about 5500 were produced..but no definate proof is available ,,the 1863 dated specimins will bring a preminum over the 1864 dated examples ..and value in excellent condition would be somewhere between 1200-2000+ to a civil war collector or at a good auction ,,and proably more in the condition stated
