does anyone know how much an oviedo 7mm mauser is worth it has a date stamp of 1898 and it has a crown with the inscription fabrica de armas
that depends on which model ya have,,the most common are the nd 1893 +1916 short rifles ,,they have a 21.5" barrel,,there is also a rifle model with a 29"barrel,,prices will range from 90-500 for original non sporterized examples.. models with all matching numbers will bring the higher end numbers and rifles or short rifles with clear crests on receiver along with dates and arsenals eg (oviedo),,non import models can be found but most rifles and carbines i've seen have import stamps on the barrel or receiver,,the averag price for the short rifles import stamped and mismatched are pretty low in the 100-150 range,,but original non import marked matching examples of the short rifle will bring 200-300 depending on barrel condition and overall correctness,,the rifle version i see in the 200-250+ range for a decent example ,,these should have matching numbers on bolt receiver barrel floorplate and stock to bring the preiminum numbers and will proably have barrel bands, sites or other parts marked with a cross inside a circle
i have a fabrica de armas oviedo 7 mm rifle,
i need a floorplate, mag follower, and a zspring
it has two matching number of P 859 on the side by the barrel and underneath 2 matching G 229 and 2 N above.
and another print on the bolt lever 2 D 7060
it is the 21.5 barrel
RE 4940 on barrel
RE 3397 0n bolt
yes on both
Oviedo is probably Spanish, their dictator was friendly with Germany. Good gun $200-$300 @gun shows.
