Anybody know the approximate value of an original issue, Army-Air Corp 45 Automatic Pistol? It is in pristine condition, fewer then 200 rounds put thru it, with original holster, clips. I anticipate being the recipient of this weapon upon the settling of a relative's estate. I know I can have it professionally appraised, but would like to know the general value of it. I have had the opportunity to inspect and shoot this weapon. I was surprised by the accuracy for a military issued weapon. Every part of this hand gun is original.

Dear Doug:
This pistol should easily bring $1000, maybe more. Original issue military .45's have become collector's items, and ones in pristine condition with all accessories like yours are very scarce.
Unless you really need the dough I would hang on to it. It can only increase in value.
