I got this gun from my grandpaw. He brought it back from the war & i want to find out the history behind the gun but the only markings on it are a serial number

hello,,there should be a number or letter code on the top of the chamber receiver ring,,could be like duv ,,dot ,,s/42,,a date a crest or coat of arms,, something to go on ,,can you supply a pic of the rifle ,,i need a overall clear pic and possibly one of the action,,something like the one i have included would be great,,also a pic of the receiver ring would be nice ,,and any markings from the left side of the receiver ,,there were millions of mausers made dyring and around ww2 so it could be any country or type ,,just need more info before i can even venture a guess as to what your might have
