any info on a winchester model 02-22 single shot 22cal., mfg 1889

If you are inquiring about a Model 1902 they were manufactured between 1902 and 1931 with approximately 640,299 manufactured. I am not sure how you determined the date of yours. And it is about 4 years too early. They are a single shot .22 caliber rifle and are not serialized. That makes it very difficult, if not impossible, to exactly pinpoint dates of manufacture. This were developed primarily as an inexpensive boys rifle. They are valued between $100 and $350 depending on the condition of the rifle.
