My friend presented me with a couple shotguns this evening and I can;t find anything on them. Info and pricing on these would be great.

The first is a Mugica Eibar .410 single shot.
The second is a J. Manton fine twist 12 guage side by side.

Any help would be appreciated as I'm stumped on this one.

There where two makers who stamped guns J.Manton one in England and one in Belgium.

The English where higher quality.

Is it a black powder shotgun?

Inspection by a good double should be done before firing the old double. Many guns in England with twist barrels have been proofed for modern loads, But dont assume yours can take the pressure.

unfortunately the manton isnt a black powder and is stamped London on the barrel but no serial no. Do you have any idea of value

Value will be depend on condition and what grade of gun it is.
