Looking for value of this gun?

I have looked at several sites and no clear answers. I have a J. Stevens 25 Cal. Drop Block 25 rim fire. The gun is different from
all that I have seen, it has a flip up adjustable peep sight in the rear behind the hammer as well as a round flip end sight.

The markings are

J. Stevens A&T co.
Chicopeee Falls, MASS
USA Pat. APR 17 94

25 Stevens

Under the lever it is stamped A 124

It has a Stevens Butt plate and underneath
it has carved initials.

I am trying to figure out what it is worth.

hello try posting your pic again and use the "select image file to attach" button it may work better for ya,,just click the browse button and find your file and click on it ,,it should copy the file name into the box ,,then click submit and that should post your pic..make sure your pics are sized to 640x480 or it also may be why yours didn't show up..if there sized to big..the test pic included is sized at 640x480

i believe i have the same rifle with the same sights. i was told the rifle itself was worth around 150.00. the rear flip up sight itself is worth another 150.00. mine has a flip up front sight which was valued at 100.00. my rifle has a partial octagon barrel with the forward section of the barrel round. the center cection of the gun, where the cocking lever is, was originally case hardened. it looks like a drop of oil in water. kind of a rainbow effect. mine is worn off. the ammo is around 60.00 a box if you can find it. i was also told that for around 100.00 i could have mine converted to a .22 rimfire which has readilly avail ammo cheap.
hope some of this helps
