hello..thats sure unusual,,what do the prrof on the top of the barrel look like ?it may be something that came in from overseas ,,but i can't be sure ,,if you can get a better pic of the proofs i may be able to find something that matches ,,
,,it could be a hand made rifle and in which case it would be very difficult to pinpoint the exact maker ,,it looks pretty crude and i'm not sure if it was actually made to fire,,it may have been made as a decoration for a den or something like that,,but it appeares to have proof marks and usually these were marks put on after proof testing by gunmakers or as there trademark,,so mabey the proofs may hold something about the maker or a time frame,,
,,in the condition it looks to be in as for value ,,i can't see it being worth much and i'd say proably mabey 100 bucks tops to someone looking for something to hang above a fireplace in a game room or something ,,and i'm proably taking a chance telling you that price because i don't see it being a high dollar gun in the condition it appeares to be in..but then again i have seen many old rifles and shotguns made by old gunmakers that look about the same... but values are about the same also and more or less bought because they look old and sell as antiques more than for there actual value as a rifle or shotgun,,"unless" it's a well known gunmaker and these are usually more elaborate in design ,,this one's just to simple to be a from a known gunmaker !maybe someone else will see something i haven't from the pics and can chime in here if i'm wrong,,
