I have an old shot gun that was my father in laws that I am not sure what it is worth. I can give you some info. It is a single barrel 12 ga. Remington. It says model 11 and has serial numbers listed under model number. I really have no idea how old it is. It is in decent condition. Does anyone have any idea based on this info how old it is or what its value is, or where I can get it evaluated.

Thanks TG

hi tg,
the remington model 11 was the first automatic shotgun manufactured in the US. it was manufactured from 1905 - 1947. if you'ld give me the s/n with the last three digits as x's i may can find out what year it was manufactured. there have been many copies of the model 11 most notibly the browning auto 5.
