hello,,it sounds like ya may have a Baby Automag if this is the model ya have there were only 1000 made in the mid 80"s and value for this model is between 300vg-500exc..collectors intrest in the AMT is riseing being the company is no longer in bussieness..there very simular in appearence to the ruger mk1's..and there were 3 model 22 amts available ,,they were the Lightning,,the bulls eye and the Baby automag,,The baby model has a 8.5" vented barrel with millet adjustable sights,,the other two model have plain barrels with minor site and grip differences ,,and there values are slightly lower than the baby automag

The AMT auto mag in Ex condition with 6" barrel sells for about $450-$500.
You can goggle AMT automag II and see several of them selling for $450-475 with *sold* next to them.
The "Baby" automag is way more rare just 1001 ever made and the ONLY one I have ever seen for sale sold for $1500. I will buy every one you have for $300 LOL

I have heard people having a problem with these jamming however I have owned mine since 1995 and have never had it jam EVER, a few "did not fires" but never jammed.
It is also accurate as any auto I have fired.
I regularly get 1 1/2" - 2" 10 shot groups at 20 yards.

lol..lol.. i had to jump back in on this one ,,sorry guys ,,i just don't think i'd pay 1000 for a 22 automag even if they only made 100 of them ,,a friend of mine just sold a 30 cal carbine auto mag III for 700 bucks and they don't make them anymore either..lol..but i guess if ya want one then you'll pay whatever your budgit will allow ,,even if it's more than the price books say there worth....i'd like to see a gunshop offer 1000 for a pistol there books say is worth 500 exc,,lol..but this is my opinion only and to each his own,, deceide to look at some current auction prices for amt pistols and found these http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/SearchResults.aspx? SearchType=0&Timeframe=0&Keywords=amt&Cat=3026& Items=50 ,,did find a listing with a price tag of 1500 bucks (for 3) automag 22 pistols with a pile of clips ..lol..lol

$1600 in my pocket - firm. You pay shipping, insurance, transfer fees, (if applicable)and any other unforseen cost. I fired this at one range session in 1986 and its been in the presentation case ever since with exception of viewing. I have everything it came with including allen wrench for trigger..... Heavy price? Nope. Thanks for your interest......

JimeJ and Ky,

I'd like to discuss the sale with you guys, but I don't want to plaster my personal email and/or phone on this open thread. Is there any way that you can sign in and shoot me a private message? Also, I'd like to see pictures of everything. Thanks.
