I recently inherited a Colt 38 super commander L.W. made in 1956 but ammo is just about non-existent. I located a quantity of once fired brass for this caliber that was made in the 1980's so I can load my own. Knowing that early barrels were designed to head space on the rim versus modern barrels bored to head space on the mouth of the case, will I have any problems using the newer cases in the older barrel? I don't want to modify the older barrel in any way. Thank you for you help and please email all comments to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Regards, Donald-PA
