Hi!

I have a double dated,Erfert luger (1917/1920)
with a marking that I can't seem to identify.
It is located on the left side, next to the serial number and on the rear of the action just above the lanyard bar. It looks like 3 connected "u"s, horse shoes or fishhooks with an angled "y" attached to the most left of the 3 symbols. I can not find any information on this marking and wondered if you folks can help. If I can figure out how to attach pics, I'll try to provide these also.
