your winchester was made in 1950 and value to a collector would proably be in the 400-600 range depending on condition and originality,,items like scopes or extra holes that have benn drilled ,,or sling swivels ,or recoil pads will detract the value to a collector ,,your best bet would be on the private sale market ,,put an add in your local newspaper or bargain paper ,,that way you don't have to bother with shipping or auction site fees ,,when you advertise it make sure you list the year to draw the intrest from collectors,,we have a for sale catagory here also if you want to list it ,,but you should follow the atf rules for selling to someone you don't know and do the shipping thru a gunshop to gunshop to cover your end ,,it's not a good practice to ship a firearm to a private individual unless he's a licenced dealer,,because thats a good way to get into trouble with the law if for some reason he's not allowed to own a firearm ..thats why i said your best bet would be in a private sale situation,,but either way do a transfer if possible or know who your selling to!
