mossberg bolt action22 rifle modle 42(c) was wondering what the value was of this rifle .It is in very good condition with peep sight and three clips. monte carlo stock. Thank You Mick M
I don't see a Mossberg Model 42c .22 caliber rifle. Please recheck that model number.
I also have one. That is the number stamped into the barrel. [Image upload failed]
Mossberg model 42C was produced between 1938 and 1941
Same rifle as the 42B without the #4 peep sight and with a bead front sight..
Need to recheck your model number, I think what you have is a model 42M(c) made in 1947/48
magazines are worth about $35/$40 a piece, S130 sight probably $75/$80 rifle itself $125/$150 depending on condition...
Do you still own that Mossberg 42C? I had one which belonged to my Dad and my son lost it. I was trying to find one to replace it.Would you be interested in selling it?
I have a No 42c as well. Missing the clip. But all the rest is there. Willing to sell.
Do you still have that Mossberg 42C to sell?
no buying or selling on this site. if you both register than you can send each other your contact info in private.
How old is a Mossberg bolt action 22 rife model 42tr and how much is it value at
I have Mossberg model 42tr bolt action 22 what is it worth
in fair to good shape about 150
I also have a 42 (c) where is the serial number or what does it mean if it doesn't have a serial number
andy: Your rifle will not have a serial number. Long guns were not required to have a serial numbers prior to the 1968 Gun Control Act, which went into effect January 1, 1969, and many manufacturers did not serialize their economy line of products.
