model16 22 single shot

my friend found a model 16 springfeild 22 bolt action, single shot. its missing the bolt, where can he get one and is the rifle worth anything??

hello,,try here ,,http://www.e-gunparts.com/dept.asp,,they might be able to help ya ,,it's proably a savage or stevens rifle ,,they made springfield models and were there inexpencive models for budget minded shooters..the bolt might cost him between 25-40 bucks = shipping and unless it's really nice or has sentimental value it may not be worth spending that kinda money on a rifle worth around 75-100 bucks ,,
