I can't find anything on a marlin model 97 .22 shot rifle. Yep shot, not short. Any body know anything about this little rifle

this is a levergun?i see a model 97 marlin levergun chambered for 22 short 22 long and 22 lr,,but don't see any refrence to it being produced in 22 shot,,if it's the one i'm looking at it is quite valuable in original caliber,,just can't find anything on this model being made in 22 shot

Yes, it is a lever action.It has a front sight missing.I was a a little garage picking up a transmission and saw this gun sitting on a workbench. I am trying to buy it, but don't know what it may be worth.

value would be in the 200-500 range,,but a dealey would proably offer between 125-300 depending on condition
