I just recently came into possession of this rifle and would like opinions as to it's value, so i can insure it properly.

The rifle is in excellent condition and has a saddle " sheath", that appears to need some strapping.
serial number 2101xxxxx indicates 1954 as manufacture date i believe.

there is reference to "carbine" as well.
what is the difference between a carbine and a regular style rifle please ?

hi ozle,
value of your 94 should be in the 450 - 550 range, the carbine had a 20" barrel where as the rifle had a 24" barrell. JMHO

My husband has a winchester model 94 AE. It is a .44 cal with serial number 639xxxx. It is in excellent condition in its special case with certificate. What is the value of it?

what kind of certificate does it come with?does it say anything about a limited production ?if not an average 94ae USED will be in the 300-400 range in excellent condition..gunshop owners will proably offer 200-250 for it and sell it for the top numbers..
