My Dad and I are trying to find out how much our Winchester lever-action rifle is valued at. I've looked around online but its so hard to tell what the value is because it depends on the serial number and condition of the refill. His brother found it in a feild wrapped in blankets lodged in the ground. The model is 1894 and the serial number is 295108. It a 40 caliber and is in excellent condition, no oxidation and it still fires.
I think the year of manufacture for serial number 295108 is 1904.
