Harry,

Right now the best Ican tell yo uis that is was made after 1991. These are Winchesters in trade mark name only. The Winchester company no longer manufactures rifles. There are lots of variations of this model in the later time frame. The gold trigger does not really narrow it down too much. If you could send in some photos that would be a great help.

Mine has serial numbers starting with 618, it was manufactured in 1995. so yours will be sometime in 1995 or soon after.
